Fair Trade South Africa: Volunteers
Fairtrade in South Africa (FTSA) is the umbrella organisation for the fair trade movement in South Africa, seeking to raise awareness on fair trade and provide support to all fair trade producers and stakeholders. FTSA is looking for volunteers to be ‘part of the change’ and promote fair trade in South Africa.
Volunteers would help out at promotions, tastings and events, between June and August 2010, in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Bloemfontein. No previous volunteer experience is required, just reliability, enthusiasm and a commitment to the fair trade principles. Volunteers need to be available for a 4 hour training session in April or May and to participate in 5 volunteer sessions between June and August.
If you would like to participate in this rewarding opportunity, please download the online application form from www.fairtrade.org.za and e-mail the completed form to volunteer@fairtrade.org.za. For further information please e-mail us or call 021 448 8911
