Project Site: Mehloding Community Tourism Trust (Mehloding Adventure Trail and Masakala Guesthouse)
Bio: Thakane completed her matric in 1999 from Mvenyane. She graduated with a National Diploma in Office Management and Technology from the Eastern Cape Technikon in 2003. She is currently pursuing a diploma in Book Keeping with College SA. Thakane never thought she would work in the tourism industry, but working at this project site has helped her realise that tourism can be a good industry to work in and can mean using what you have in your area - culture, natural attractions, etc - to draw business.
